Here are some tips to get you started on writing your Business Plan
:

1. Write down your business idea in a style as if you are explaining it to a person in front of you.

2. Explain the business idea using the journalistic headings of Why, When, Where, What, Who and How.

3. Use a simple writing style listing out major points. Remember to focus on Expressing not Impressing.

4. Keep your sentences and paragraphs short. Use bullet points.

5. Give your readers direction. Write logically so your description flows in a clear direction.

6. Avoid using technical words, jargon and ambiguous words. Be concise and precise.

7. Read what you have written out load. Make sure your writing sounds positive with a focus on what you can do.

8. Express yourself clearly by visualizing what you want to write on and write freely. You can always edit to shorten sentences later.
